Dreamin' Big

I've spent most of the morning trying to convince C that we need to buy this house immediately:

Is that, or is that not, simply incredible?! It was built in 1885 by a ferryboat captain, and it's located in historic Occoquan, VA, right along the river. And I legitimately want to own it. C is not quite as quick to jump on the ship (teehee!) with me. It would obviously require way more money to restore than we have and way more time and energy to restore and then maintain than we have as well. He's so logical. I was ready to place an offer. HA!

If we ever win the lottery, I will be buying a house just like this before you can bat an eye. It's just so full of history and stories and hidden beauty! Sigh. Love.

....Anyone have a few hundred-thousand dollars lying around that I can have?

I adore it! Would snap it up in a second if I could do nothing but work on it all day and had the money to spend :)
